Birthday weekend :D

First I want to say thanks for all the birthday cards and wishes, they are always much appreciated.

Do your chores before you can go and play boys :D

Surfin the quebecan way??

who splashed me?

The sun was shining, the water was warm, we were lovin it..

I'm sure you're supposed to stay on the water, not sink Steff, lol

Just splashing around :)

After a long drive back from Memphis, Tennessee, only stopping for coffee breaks, we arrived home at approx 4am... the idea was to collect our pick up truck from home, and for me to follow Rod to halifax so the big truck could be serviced and some tyres (tires) changed. Well best laid plans don't always work, lol.

I started our little truck, brill, it starts but won't go into gear :( 15mins later, lets try plan B... lets drop the big truck in Halifax get some sleep and then decide what to do.

We both slept for about 4 hours, took Dee to the groomers and hired a car for the weekend, arriving home at approx 5.30pm... i hope there is a pizza in the freezer cos thats all your getting Rod.

Nothing was going to spoil our weekend, we had a brilliant few days off with Steff, a work colleaguefrom Quebec who had driven up to spend the weekend with us. Drinking lots of beer, playing in the lake and completing Motor storm on the PS3 as well, he's also a pretty keen golfer on the wii :)

Monday night took us to the Slayer/Megadeath concert in Halifax, we'd been waiting for this is for a few months and Rod was pretty hyped about it, especially when a guy in front of us has a "thrash off' to Dead skin Mask lol...

Altogether it was a damn good time, and after a long road trip I'd say we both enjoyed it immensley and can't wait for the next one :D

We've always said we work hard to play harder, and this was good proof, no 36 hour re-set, we returned to work fully refreshed after 5 days ready for the start of another session of work.
And this was after spending Monday afternoon, replacing the transmission pan and fluid on the little truck...
